Bird Count

Wikipedia lists 1,314 species of (Indian) birds. These include accidental, endemic, introduced and extirpated species.

Here, I will keep a count of the birds I have seen and documented in this blog so far (some of these accounts might be scheduled for publication at a later date).

Update (Sep 2016) – The number of bird species indicated in Wikipedia has changed from 1,314 to 1,266! I wonder why…I hope we haven’t managed to kill off the missing species. That would be awfully shameful.
